During the month of December in the year 2019, there was a rumour of Mr. Placca’s retirement. The Alumni of the Aggrey Chapel Choir and some music students of Akora C. M. Placca decided to meet with Akora Eunice Quarcoopome, the Executive Secretary, during the 2018 Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. After the meeting, we decided to send a letter to the school for their approval to organise a concert in honour of our music master and teacher.
Made up the following year groups: 2006, 2008, 2012, 2013,2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019.
The concert was held on Sunday 16th June 2019 at the Aggrey Chapel, Achimota School.
The programme was supported by the Old Achimotan Association Secretariat, the Visual Art Department , Allegro Classic Foundation(ACF) and the Aggrey Chapel Choir.
