Akora Ebenezer Saka Addo-Mensah (Year Group 1998) has officially signed a contract with Achimota School for the construction of a New Boys’ Boarding House as his “Legacy Gift” to Achimota School as it turns 100years.
In his remarks, Akora Ebenezer Saka Addo-Mensah expressed heartfelt gratitude to the School for the pivotal role it has played in shaping his life and reaffirmed his commitment to give back to his alma mater.
The new boarding house, once completed, will accommodate 250 students, significantly expanding boarding capacity and enriching student life on campus.
Akora Prof. Ernest Aryeetey (Board Chair, Achimota School) and Mr. Ebenezer Acquaah (Headmaster, Achimota School) signed on behalf of Achimota School. Akora Joel Nettey (OAA President) witnessed for the school.
Present at the signing ceremony were Dr. Evelyn Oduro, Mr. Christian Tetteh Badger (Municipal Chief Executive), Akora Bedford Otoo, Akora John Appiah, Akora Dela Zumanu (PTA Chairman), Rev. Fr. Evans Halolo (School Chaplain) all Board Members and Mr Kwabena Boateng (Assistant Headmaster). Also present was Akora Hoffmann Lartey, Architect and Member of the Board’s Project Committee, Akora Winfred Okpoti and Akora Eunice Quarcoopome (Executive Secretary, OAA).
