We are extremely proud to share the selection of Akora Mariyam Yussif, Aryee House, OAA 2020 as the valedictorian of the University of Ghana, School of Agriculture, Faculty of Family and Consumer Sciences. She graduated with an exceptional FGPA of 3.94.
Hers is a story of passion, purpose and perseverance.
From her days at Achimota School, where she studied Home Economics with Biology and Economics, to excelling at the University of Ghana, Mariyam Yussif has remained committed to improving lives.
Inspired by an outreach session at her alma mater, she pursued Family and Child Studies with determination, graduating with First Class Honours and a distinction.
With a heart for social justice and holistic development, Mariyam is set to make a lasting impact in research, policy and advocacy for vulnerable populations.
