Since the handing over of the project to the School last March, a number of other things have been completed. The two additional staircases have been put in place. The 4 pavilions that will serve as waiting areas for students have been constructed. A security fence wall has been erected to protect the facility.
On Christmas Eve, 24th December 2020, the OAA Executive Committee will ‘hand over’ the 4 pavilions to the 1974, 1975, 1976 and 1989 Year Groups for contributing more than $20,000 each to the project. The ceremony is scheduled for 11 am to be followed by a pre-Christmas brunch for 100 people. The best waakye in town is on the menu. Since the project account is currently in the red, we would like to find additional sponsors for the fence wall. There will be an embedded plaque on the fence wall to show who the sponsors are. Please help us to finish this major project properly.
Our next project for the School will be a 250-seater ultra-modern auditorium to play the role of the Science Lecture Theatre. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor please let us know. Thank you.
