Dear Akora,
I would like to thank the 1962 Year Group once again for fully honoring the pledge they made towards the completion of the OAA-Tullow Science Block. We met this morning at the Secretariat where they gave us the last installment of $2,700 to complete their total contribution of $10,000. We thank them most sincerely for their generosity.
The 1962 Year Group was able to make the payment today on their way to the home of the late Akora Winfred Edwin Apatu to mourn with his family. Akora Apatu was a representative for the Group at the OAA meeting of Year Group representatives. We continue to pray for strength for the 1962 Year Group on their loss.
I hope this donation will serve as a reminder to all those individuals who made pledges and are yet to fulfill them. We need to close the accounts on this as soon as possible. Please help us to finish the project properly. The final list of contributors will be published on 25th July 2020 and the accounts presented at the AGM on 26th July 2020.
